When Big D Speed Shop called me to find out if could wire a Harley for them my exact words were “do you have a diagram? if you have the wiring diagram I can definitely figure it out”. A few short weeks later I would be visiting their shop to look at this bike. A few weeks after that they dropped it off at my shop with the keys. I have learned that my process on builds is to study what exists about the donor bike. In this case the rear of the frame had already been modified a bit to be squared at the back with a slight rise. I took a few measurements and cues from what was on my lift and began to remake it in the image of what was in my head. I cut away what was without purpose and simplified what was complicated. Sean Starr provided it with the raw patina and paint and at this end of the project we are pretty stoked.
